Andaman and Nicobar Island:

Andaman and Nicobar is the best archipelago state of the great Bay of Bengal. There are more than 300 islands are present. They are best known for palm trees, mangroves, white sand beaches, tropical forests (rainy), etc. The Islands covering a total area of 8,073 square kilometers. Andaman and Nicobar are one of the most attractive Islands, in this article we will discuss about many places to visit in Andaman and Nicobar:

Havelock Islands:

We all know about the famous Radhanagar beach. Havelock Island is home to Radhanagar Beach. Radhanagar beach is situated 12 km away from Havelock. Sparkling blue water without any wave makes the whole area surprising beautiful. People can do here boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc. The serene environment is romantic and so beautiful. You can also enjoy the elephant riding here. However, it is a beautiful place.

Baratang Island:

Baratang Island is the most visited place in Andaman and Nicobar. On this Island, you can see crocodiles. This place is also called as the home to Indigenous tribe “Jarwa”. Port Blair:

Port Blair is the capital of Andaman and Nicobar. Andaman and Nicobar have history from the British Period. It can remind us of the journey of the disaster life of freedom fighters. One of the most famous visiting place in Cellular Jail. So many freedom fighters were incarcerated in this jail. Moreover it one of the most attractive place.

Neil Islands:

Whitestone’s famous Neil Island is world-famous. The perfect time for visiting this place is morning and evening. Morning time is perfect for enjoying the coral reefs and snorkeling. The coral capital of Andaman and Nicobar is Neil Island. Local people sell coconut water here and it is the main earning source of those people.

Nicobar Island:

Nicobar Island covers the whole area of 1,045 square kilometers. The great Nicobar Island is populated with a total of 10,000 people. in 2004, during the Tsunami this area was severely affected. It is also popular as a diverse wildlife sanctuary. ‘Shompen’ is a tribal religion lived there and this is the oldest religion. Famous places to visit here is Indira Port, Campbell way, etc.

Ross Island:

Another famous point to visit in Andaman is Ross Island. This Island has the history of ruining the British opulent past from a bungalow, bakery, etc. Now it is the best tourist destination point in Andaman and Nicobar.


Andaman and Nicobar is a famous destination in India. You can relax here and enjoy the whole day at the beach. If you never visit this place you should pay a visit and enjoy it.
